This is where we can pay respects for the horses that we loved and lost .....

Somewhere...somewhere in time's own space
There must be some sweet pastured place

Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow

Some Paradise where horses go.

For by the love that guides my pen
I know great horses live again.

 Tommy

Tommy Hawk,

Tommy has always been stubborn and bull headed but he would not purposely hurt anyone and was a good horse for beginners. If they were too hard on his mouth he just took them back to the hitching post and parked. All done. Tommy went on many trail rides and won some blue ribbons in 4-H shows. He was not a pretty appy but we loved him. When he got to know you he would nicker when he saw you and we could call him when the herd was in the back field and he would come galloping in with the herd behind him. He was 27 years old and we were no longer able to manage the pain of his uveitis. He was also having trouble finding his feed pan some times and bumping his head in the stall looking for it. It was time to say goodbye.

Cammy

Cammy meant the world to me. Ever since the first ride, we connected. I could do anything on her. Stand up, barrels, English, jumping, gaming, anything. She was a gem. She was 5 when she passed from colic. The days before her passing she was having a fever and was very moody. More moody than usual. The next day I got a call from the office in school from my mom. She said that she would pick me up early as to that cammy wasn't doing so well. I rushed down to the barn to see her laying down. Her time had come. She passed on 2/10/11, just 4 days before my birthday. I miss her every day and she will still hold a place dear in my heart. Galloping down the hills in heaven with her friends that have also lost their owners. She will be with me forever. Goodbye cammy, my hopeless dream.
